The Rama Mandira at Ajekaru was built fairly recently with the help of the Samaja Bandhavas (brothers from the community) who contributed towards the purchase of the land where they have built the temple and the hall.
The inspiration for this temple came from the long tradition of weekly bhajans performed across generations by the local GSB facilities. What started with Shri Panduranga Kini was continued by his son Vasudeva Kini. Eventually, local people started hosting bhajan evenings at their homes every week on a turn by turn basis. A need was felt to have a community place where bhajans can be held inspiring the idea of a local temple.
The Youth of GSB has done an excellent tour of this temple.
