Andaaru is a small locality belonging to the Ajekaaru province with a GSB population of around 6 families.
The beginning of this temple's history starts with a devout community elder called Putthu Maam who would sit under the Peepul tree next to his house and sing devotional songs. As he had no sons, he donated an acre of land for constructing a temple as a venue for conducting bhajan programmes.
Shri Madhava Kini, a great devotee and a cook at the Venkataramana temple took the initiative to build this temple of the donated land. Placed within the garbhagriha is a photo of Lord Ramachandra which is worshipped.
In 2004, through the financial support of a GSB NRI Shri Ramdasa Kini and efforts of Shri Devadasa Kini a magnificent temple was built amongst celebrations.
