ब्रह्म रुद्रेंद्र चंद्रादि गीर्वाण गण वंदिते
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।१।।
brahma rudreṁdra caṁdrādi gīrvāṇa gaṇa vaṁdite
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।1।।
O Mahalasa, the one who is worshipped by Brahma, Rudra, Chandra and all the other Gods, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
मार्दोल धर्मक्षेत्रस्थ शालिग्राम शिलास्थिते
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।२।।
mārdola dharmakṣetrastha śāligrāma śilāsthite
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।2।।
O Mahalasa who resides in the Shaligram at the Mardol Dharmakshetra bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
कोटिसूर्य प्रतीकाशे विष्णुमाये सुधाप्रदे
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।३।।
koṭisūrya pratīkāśe viṣṇumāye sudhāprade
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।3।।
O Mahalasa who shines with the brightness of millions of sons, Vishnumaya (illusionary form of Vishnu), the one who granted the divine nectar, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
मंदस्मितेसेचनिके मोहिनी परमेश्वरी
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।४।।
maṁdasmitesecanike mohinī parameśvarī
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।4।।
O Parameshwari, the one with the mesmerising smile whose beauty infatuates us, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
खड्ग शूलखड्ग शिरःपात्र धृते भक्त वरप्रदे
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।५।।
khaḍga śūlakhaḍga śiraḥpātra dhr̥te bhakta varaprade
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।5।।
The holder of khadga, trishul, runda and the vessel of nectar, the one who grants the wishes of her devotees, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
सौंदर्य निलये देवि कन्यारूपे धुरंधरे
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।६।।
sauṁdarya nilaye devi kanyārūpe dhuraṁdhare
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।6।।
O leader in the form of a young girl and in whom beauty itself resides, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
गंध कुंकुमोदक पुष्पादि मंगल द्रव्य पूजिते
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।७।।
gaṁdha kuṁkumodaka puṣpādi maṁgala dravya pūjite
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।7।।
The one who is worshipped with Gandha (Sandalwood paste), flowers, kumkum and other auspicious items, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
शरणागत भक्तानां दुःख क्लेश विदारके
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।८।।
śaraṇāgata bhaktānāṁ duḥkha kleśa vidārake
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।8।।
The one who destroys the sadness and conflict of devotees who surrenders to her, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
सर्व संपत् प्रदे मातः सर्व सौभाग्य दायिनी
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।९।।
sarva saṁpat prade mātaḥ sarva saubhāgya dāyinī
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।9।।
O Mother who provides us with all the wealth and good luck, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
भूतप्रेत पिशाचादि रोगबाधा विदारिके
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।१०।।
bhūtapreta piśācādi rogabādhā vidārike
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।10।।
The one who destroys Bhuta, preta, pishacha and diseases bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
अप्रमेय गुणाकारे सर्व कलि मलापहे
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।११।।
aprameya guṇākāre sarva kali malāpahe
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।11।।
The one with limitless qualities and forms who destroys all the bad things in this Kaliyuga, bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
निराकारे च साकारे भुक्तिमुक्ति प्रदायिनी
ज्ञानाभय प्रदानेन पाहि सर्वान् महालसे ।।१२।।
nirākāre ca sākāre bhuktimukti pradāyinī
jñānābhaya pradānena pāhi sarvān mahālase ।।12।।
To the knowledgeable you are formless, to the less knowledgeable you are in a form (as Mahalasa Devi), the provider of both bhukti (materialisatic enjoyment) and mukti (spiritual liberation), bestow knowledge and fearlessness on us and protect us all.
