There is no dearth of resources on Konkani recipes online. Our recipes vary based on the region and have local influences in them. Some unique ones that are our favourites:
- Shadrasa Cooking Channel – Kudos to Shrimati Anupama Bhat from Manjeshwar who is bringing recipes from GSB homes to the internet. Recipes with minimal, easily available ingredients. Do subscribe.
- Prabha’s Kitchen – A simple blog that has a comprehensive compilation of some very traditional and unique amchi recipes from Cochin
- Amchi Vasari – more than a vlog, the creator through their posts bring out some elements of tradition, culture and loads of nostalgia
- Kini’s Vasari – These videos take you to the memories of small hotels where you could find something mouth watering and traditional. Must watch and if you can do visit their hotel in Moodbidri

Rasachandrika _ Saraswat Cookery book Published in 1938 in Marathi, this is the first book on Konkani cuisine. It has a very good list of all recipes using locally available vegetables, not the most well presented like today’s cookery books but the details are all in there 🙂 It also has a list of home remedies.
